Men competition involves a lot of vigorous exercises than that of women. Males take part in the sport when they reach puberty and thus not as young as ladies. This is because men need to be strong enough to participate. The same age limit as that of ladies applies when it comes to Olympic event. For the men, they are allowed to take part in as many as six categories.

Tumbling is almost similar to trampoline; it is not included in the Olympics. The main difference to trampoline is that the apparatus used here are spring boards and bouncing floors. In this category, athletes must perform certain moves as stated by the judges in order to qualify for the main event. They should complete two passes for every stage; eight elements make up one pass.
Acrobatics is unique from the other types in that the participants are regarded as the equipment. They perform in pairs of twos to fours; they do handstands, balances and holds on each other. The pairing may be all men, all women or a mix in gender; it is also not an Olympic event yet.
